Will the Hygiene pod cause damage to my appliance?

No, the ultrasonic-waves are completely safe and non-abrasive. Metal and plastic appliances are safe and will cause no damage.

What can the Hygiene pod clean?

The Hygiene pod is designed specifically to clean Invisalign aligners, retainers, mouth guards, night guards, dentures, toothbrush heads, partial dentures, and sleep apnea devices.

You can clean jewellery though our focus is on dental appliances and oral care.

What temperature water should I use?

Always use cold to room temperature water inside the Hygiene Pod.

This helps to maintain the heat level whilst performing the cleaning cycle.

Do I need to clean the Hygiene pod?

It is recommended by our team of hygienist to use a cleaning tablet with each clean.

If you can't use one each clean, a gentle rinse of water and dry with a clean cloth is an option.

Does it stop on its own?

Yes, the pod runs on a short 5 minute cleaning cycle that will turn off when complete.

Yes, the Cleaning tablets are made with no harsh chemicals to sustain your appliances.

How often should I use a tablet?

We recommend using a tablet for optimal sterilisation after wearing your appliance for over 6 hours.

Alternatively, sterilize your appliances when possible.
